The first step to getting involved is to join the association. Annual dues equate to only $12.50 a month in order for you take advantage of all the member benefits - including obtaining the NCEA Certified credential!

Committees' Mission Statements

Advisory Committee
Chair: Executive Director
Advise the Executive Director in coordinating and facilitating activities of the SDSS.
The Advisory Committee consists of all Committee Chairs
Support the Executive Director

Annual Meeting Planning Committee
Establish CE application guidelines and implement CE program for recertification. Develop criteria for CE providers and speakers. These guidelines would include” Conflict of Interest Statements, Class Objectives, etc. NCEA CE Providers must be Approved Training Facilities.

National Standards Committee
Represent the SDSS at the NCEA membership meetings and identify current issues that need to be addressed.

Membership Committee
Recruit and retain current SDSS membership. Create opportunities for new members to network and get involved! Increase attendance at SDSS annual meeting and sponsored events through email communications and personal communications.

Scholarship and Educational Grant Committee
Stimutlate industry interest in offering educational gratns to attend annual meeting and support for the Esthetician Scholarship program. Coordinate the qualifications for and the review process of applicants applying for scholarships and grants.
